I'm having some oil drainback issues with my 88 LX. The head seems to be holding oil as if the oil drain ports in the head are clogged up. At least I think so anyway.
If i take the oil fill cap off, I can look down at the baffle inside the cover and see oil covering it, just below the threads in the valve cover. I've also noticed that if I get into the throttle pretty hard I get a puff of blue smoke, but only with my foot in it. Any other time the car does not smoke at all.
Anybody got any other ideas besides this? I'm kind of lost. I'm going to pull the valve cover sometime this weekend, I need to replace the gasket anyway.
