Theres your problem right there. That is way too much. You are flowing more air in there and it would be wise to use a smaller gap. Depending how modified your car is, I would have it between 36-42.tomustang said:stock .055inch
Because cars are funny like that. Mine did the same thing when I did my head swap and used the stock spark plugs and stock gap.
