Hello everybody, I'm new to this page and I wanted to ask a question on locating the cylinder temperature sensor on a 2014 Mustang GT because I received two codes P1285 and P1299 when I was driving one day, if anybody has any pictures or knowledge about this subject, I'm all eyes and ears.
I'm assuming the car was not overheating and the coolant temp was in range? Did you check your coolant level?
If everything checks out and you're confident it's just the CHT sensor, then know it's kind of a pain to get too. I know on my 2011 5.0 out of an F150, it's located on the rear of the passenger side cylinder head. I believe it's the same for your 5.0.
