Dallas Dealerships

I finally was able to test drive an 05 Stang GT the other night and I'm ready to order. I'm in the Dallas area and wondering if anyone on these forums have ordered from any Dallas dealerships with reasonable pricing. I'm looking to pay under MSRP and havn't started contacting dealerships yet but am looking for suggestions from fellow members. The only dealership I talked to was Town East Ford and they were even marking up orders.

I usually go Edmunds.com or carsdirect.com when I get fed up with dealer markups. When the brand new 2003 GT came in from carsdirect to a local dealership the salesmen went bananas trying to give me a better deal. I just gave 'em two words; TOO LATE. I've had my GT for a year now and love it. About 10 years ago the then new design 93 Camaro was out and dealers insisted on a $600 markup added to sticker price. I used a service called "Cars by phone" and bought one over the phone at list price. I have basically made my mind up to visit the dealerships just for my own amusement, get a good laugh over their greedy markups and then jump on the internet to make the real deal.

I ordered my 05 GT from Prestige in Garland with x plan price. I worked with the internet mgr. bobby. I talked to every dealer in dallas and they were the first to put the order in so they got the business. The did try to add some extra charges in but I got that resolved a few weeks later so everything worked out fine.
