Damn AOD! $@$%!!!

Well, I just swapped out my brokedown AOD for another one until I get the ballz to tackle the 5-speed conv. The problem is that after I installed it, and adjusted the TV cable, I hope, I am slipping like no other in everything above first. In fact, I don't even think I hit all the gears. The tranny is from an LTD and supposedly worked when it was in. Is there something I missed that would make this suck this bad?

I added almost three gals. (12 quarts) and the stick says good...

you might want to drop the pan and change the filter

I actually did that before I installed the tranny so I could stay clean under the car...

yeah i hope! I am going to try and redo that one again tonight but I am losing hope...I hate taking it in! I feel like a failure! ( actually I just run out of time, but you know what I mean )

i know what u mean...when i did my shift kit i forgot to out the manual valve back in place and i tore it down 3 times all three times forgetting it! i finally got it right.....if your problems continue let me know i might have an AOD with 30k miles on it coming up for sale pretty soon..CHEAP
