So today I was supposed to switch out my front springs and put on the cobra 13" calipers rotors and ss lines. I was feeling pretty good about myself after I finished the springs and had the rotors and calipers on. When I tried to remove the stock brake lines I couldn't for the life of me get the nut off that attaches the stock line to the hard steel line next to the fender liner. I even tried wd40 and let it sit for an hour and still it won't budge. Am I missing something? I thought I could even reuse the stock GT lines but they don't fit the cobra calipers....WTF. I need help.:bang:

does it matter if ur furthest from MC? I did my passenger side front, drivers side front, then im going to do new rear pads next week (car is off the road) so Ill do my passenger side rear then drivers side rear, will that be fine?

If you replaced the caliper lines then the air is only in the line to the calipers. You can start with any caliper and it will not matter. The only time you have to follow a specific pattern is when you are installing a complete brake system or you replaced the MC or proportioning valve.

You don't have to bleed the brakes if your are only changing the pads.

How do you know when all the air is out of the lines? Does the pedal firm up? Do I do this with the engine on or off?
