I recently had a flat on my '03 Mustang GT. I was lucky that they pro-rated the tire that had to be replaced, but they chipped the paint on on my stock Bullit rim. I went to the Ford dealer to get touch up paint but the girl said there isn't any. Does anybody know what color code the center of '03 Bullit rim is or what is really close?

Thanks,

sorry i dont have a color for you. it sucks though, i worry about it all the time when i change tires. all they have to do is use the right equipment and be careful.:nonono:

I am a little worried when it comes to getting tires changed. I just ordered new FR500s that are going to be here tommorrow and getting 295s and 265s installed on them. I hope they don't screw up my wheels! :nono:

I took some my brand new Hyper Coated saleens to have tires put on about 3 weeks ago and they messed up two of em....I was FURIOUS...... had the manager write on the receipt an acknowledgement of damage done by and not it was by employees while doing the work.

2 days later they gave me cash to buy two more wheels and keep the old one's.

I'd demand a new wheel man.....:notnice: maybe too late for that now though

Maybe p.m. Randy Stinchcomb (i think that's his name?) I believe he works at a Ford Dealer, other's on here know him well.

Edit: Just got this from another thread, His number at Ford is 410-655-2000

just make sure you get the right color cause there is 4 different shades to the bullitt rims but most people have the Anthracite or prefer that shade...........

cause there is two shades for the 01-02' then the 03' special edition and the Anthracite shade darkest of all four

sorry to hear that man. I had that happen on my street bike recently i had them change two tires and they scratched my special edition rims up and to top it off they charged 170 dollars for the tire change. why so much was because they said i didnt buy the tires from them so they tacked on an 80 dollar charge which is gay.
