Well about 99% sure now that the tune issue was that my tweecer ALWAYS goes to update only when making changes. I didnt know it was an bad thing until I saw it was a "bug" a few months ago but had put the car up to re-do the rear susp. / cold of winter.

Messed around with it making 2 base tunes, one a base of the gt tune I read from the eec. and one from a j4j1 bin. Then made a timing tune with 32* using the base table only for both. Loaded up all 4 tunes with both gt tunes by each other and both j4j1 tunes by each other.

So I hope to either tonight or tomarrow go for a drive and check out both tunes and maybe turn the knob to the 32* and see if it picks up any.

thought about it...going to see what this round does. If it is the problem and it is now solved (at least I know to watch out for it anyway) I will prob. just keep the 1.3 and cal-edit. I mean I should not need ALOT of work since most of it is factory stuff.

If I run into some more BS then I will look into working with binary editor.

Well if its not fixed I am def. on the right path for sure now. Drove it around yesterday threw traffic and hwy. Got on it alittle with just the bare bones j4j1 tune and it felt good. About half way in the trip (right before we got to the in-laws for a mothers day bbq) I turned to to the 32* timing tune I made...it ran REALLY good.

I am not really putting much into how I "feel" the power, but for the first time with this new setup I could REALLY feel a change that would have made more power. So far adding any timing or running any a/f comanded made absolutly 0 diff. on the j4j1 tune.

I must say that just the base tune I had made more SOTP from what I have had before. I just dont get to drive it much since its not a daily and I have been working out the bugs.
