Ok so my original dash on the 85 GT has seen better days. Its all cracked and right now I have one of those cheap carpet covers. I was looking at a plastic dash pad cap for $64. Ive seen complete dashes but those are going for closer to $200. I just bought some Infinity speakers for the dash but they are a little bigger and I need to make openings bigger for them to fit. So I was thinking Id hog out the original dash then put the cover over it. Does anyone have any experience with the hard plastic covers?
