You know under intense heat (exhaust) powder coating will flake off just like regular paint. Im sure someone just painted them with high temp black paint. But in any case good deal. I bet if you had them jet hot coated you'd still come out ahead.

true. we will see. and i thought about it. but i have a feeling that the whole motor will be coming out and the stang will be down still early 09. so if thats the case i could send them out and have them coated. but i have no idea of a place that does it? its not black. its like a charcoal color though

I have a whole garage full of parts that everyone wants to offer next to nothing for. I turn down insulting offers everyday.
this morning I got an email offering 25.00 for a set of 24lb injectors
another guy wants me to sell him my t5 for 78.00
then I have another chick(or claims to be) wanting to buy an explorer top end for 100.00

I could get more than that just scrapping this chit out.
