I HATE YOU!

had to go an make building a "cleavor" reasonable compared to what they would have costed a few years ago. while this sounds all well and good im having trouble convincing my wife i need a motor that turns 9000RPM makes huge HP and torque... AND you had to make FUEL INJECTION intakes for it!

WTF MATE! how are you going to take a mans dream of owning a bad ass motor like that and make it truely an option!

btw if you have any idea how to convince my wife i need a bad ass motor like that i will have this thread deleted and make an i love you trickflow thread!

I love the idea of an EFI Cleveland....
Clevor is nice too though.

Someone could make a killing by repopping 351w GT40 lowers, and casting up a 351c GT40 lower!
There wouldn't be enough Exploder uppers to cover all the folks snapping them up!

The Explorer uppers wouldn't move enough air to do an engine like that justice I'm afraid. They'd run out of volume long before an engine like that got through it's powerband. :(

My fathernlaw has been working up a clevor, very slowly, over the past year or two....I am pretty sure before Trickflow even announced their new intakes. Anyways, he just bought one of their carbed intakes for his motor. Its a nice piece. He is using old iron heads that have been ported. The ports are HUGE and his home port job netted around 340cfm at .600 lift, if I remember correctly. Anyways, can't wait to see how it runs, it will be an all track motor, somewhere around 13:1 compression and a big cam. I hope he eventually swaps on some aluminum heads.

Ha, truth. Especially if it's a stroker like a 408. It'd be dead in the water by 4 grand.

It's unfortunate that Ford never did a GT40 upper that could actually feed a 351. The 351 lower is supposed to be a serious piece, I've heard TMoss say he can port them out to flow more than 300 CFM.

Yeah, I think it's the straighter runners that really help out the 351W lowers. They don't need to make such drastic bends in the intake runners like the 302's do.

I guess we'll just be forced to throw a turbo or SC on there to overcome that! :D
Now you're talkin. lol

no but they have aftermarket box uppers that will!
