well its out of an 87 gt . so i beleive they use the serp setup up front, so how much will a new pickup line run me? i can use my old oil pan from my other engine. so is that alli would have to do is change my oilpan and pickup line?
Use the oilpan and pickup from the other engine. Won't cost a thing. You may want to use the early timing chain cover. Otherwise, you will need to remove/drill material in the dipstick boss in the late model cover. In either case, you will need to plug the dipstick hole in the side of the engine block.

If you run the Serpentine system, you will need to modify/change your radiator. The 87 uses a reverse rotation water pump and has the outlet on the passenger side.

If you use your V-Belt system, you can keep the standard water pump and you dont have to swap the radiator.
