I was speaking to somone on stangnet quite along time ago who gave me some numbers on what to have the block decks milled to to have the stock pistons stick out of the hole slightly at the top of the stroke to increase compression. 2 computer crashes later i nolonger have this info and if somone knows it i would like to get it back. Also 1 additional question...can this be done with aftermarket pistons as well? thanks

Just measure what you have now. NONE of my pistons had positive deck, they were either zero or up to .009" negative. Another nice thing to do is to measure the rods center-to-center, piston pin heights and crank throws so you can "select fit" them together for the most consistant deck height.
