Deep dish rear wheels

I am going to buy some deep dish bullitt rims for my 05 stang. I dont know if i should go with 18x10 or 17x10.5 for the rear. Will they fit? Has anyone gone with wider tires on their 05 or 06? I am also planning on lowering the car too and wondering if they will rub anywhere.

I am running 20x10s with an Eibach Pro kit and I have not rubbed once. Can't help you on the 10.5s though

Mydnyghte, what width and profile tires are you running? Do you think I would have any rubbing with 295/40/20 in the rear?

I have heard of people running 295s on the back and they did not say anything about rubbing.

To be honest, I don't remember Once I get my car back from having the bumper painted, again, I will let you know.
