deleted smog whats the deal with the heads?

whats the point of the part of the smog piping that bolts to the back of the heads? i got the line capped that runs out the off road pipe and i know i should plug the line goin to the heads too but whats it for?

I just put an o r H pipe and longs in my car over the weekend. I just completely nixed the entire system. Just take out the bolts in the back of the heads remove the tubes and put back in the bolts. Thats what I did anyway

The cheap and easy way to do it is to cut the pipes off of the plates on the back of the heads. You then flip the plates and install them in backwards, which effectivley seals off the holes.

all you need to do is cut the line off completely from the back off the heads .
and flip that little block around on each head to totally block it off, and just tighten it with the bolt.
if you dont do this you will leak air from your heads.
