Hey guys, so I'm a little upset right now, just got done installing my new UPR adjustable upper and lower control arms. They are the ones with solid bushings and I spent the extra money so that I could get the lowers that would keep the sway bar. Going to install the sway bar it doesnt even come close to lining up, it about an inch off from lining up with the other control arm, obviously these are not made to work with stock control arms. My car is really a track car, for drag racing purposes am I ok not running a rear sway bar? And anyone familiar with UPR products know what I need to buy to get a sway bar on this thing?

even stock arms need to have the sway bar pushed into place.

3 ways to go forward with this

do what i did. and just get rid of it. (changing this down the road) not the best idea since it likes to torque up when you launch hard
get an air bag for the passanger side to help control it
or
get an ARB which is my plan.

There is not a left or right side control arm with the Pro Series lowers that you have. I had those exact arms on my Fox a couple of years ago. You definitely want to use your existing sway bar if you don't have a solid anti-roll bar. It helps control body roll on the launch. As I recall, you do have to tug it a little to line it up, but it is not difficult.

Let us know if you need any help or suggestions with the install.

I ended up getting it, I had to take off the u-bolt clips and flip them around and put the sway bar on the outside of the mounts rather than the inside. Thanks everyone.

Good deal. So how does it feel? Good weight transfer on the launch??

Honestly I notice almost no difference at all. Which I am actually ok with going from stock control arms to solid bushings all around I would expect the ride to be a little rougher and its not. I do notice a tiny bit of the car wandering but I may just need to adjust them a little better and get them perfect. I hit it one time from a rolling first gear and it threw me back in the seat hard but difficult to compare it to before. I dont like messing around too much on the street as my car is really loud and everyone in a mile radius is going to turn their head to see what's happening so I try to keep it under control. I am going to the track this Sunday to see the real results. I was running 13.1@104mph before with a 1.8 60'. Hoping these control arms are going to give me that extra hook to break 12's.
