Ok, think I got this figured out. Here's my plan, any tips/advice/changes?

First I'll be picking up a Porter Cable 7424 from my favorite Lowes. I'll also be ordering the Sonus SFX foam pad kit. My car is Screamin' Yellow, 2004. Paint doesn't have horrible damage, but does have swirls and a few light scratches. There are a few scratches that the prev owner touched up (terrible job), but that's a whole other issue. Here goes...

1) Good wash/dry
2) Clay bar til its smooth
3) Sonus SFX-2 Enhance Swirl Remover using the SFX-2 pad
4) Sonus SFX-3 Final Finish Polish using SFX-3 pad
5) Wax using SFX-3 pad, still debating but looking at Klasse All-in-One or P21S Carnauba Wax

From what I've been reading this should take car of any swirlies and leave a pretty nice finish and isn't very difficult with the PC buffer. Any suggestions or advice, especially on that wax? Thanks!

Klasse AIO is more of a paint cleaner not really a stang alone paint protectant. Also the sonus are a bit over priced imo Lake Country pad are better priced and I'm pretty sure LC makes the sonus pads (my Wolfgang pads said LC on them). Bob@Danase is who I get my pads from http://www.danase.com/6foflpabylac.html
If it were me I would do like so
1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Klasse AIO
4. Swirl remover
5. Paint polisher
6. Clearkotes Vanilla Moose hand glaze
7. Clearkotes Moose wax or Poorboys Nattys Paste Wax.
But if you want to use PS21 it's very very similar to S100 wax found at Harley Davidson shops and half the price. .02

http://www.exceldetail.com

Excel Detail also has some high quality pads at a decent price. As for the steps, I would go with:

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Wash again to remove any clay residue (optional)
4. Polish with Poorboy's SSR 2.5 on a polishing pad
5. If hazing occurs, follow up with SSR 1.0 on a polishing pad
6. Clearkote Vanilla Moose (AIO and Vanilla Moose will do basically the same thing, except VM will leave so oils behind to help hide fine swirls and will give a better shine)
7. Poorboy's EX-P+ or EX-P sealant (optional, will give better results and durability)
8. 1 or 2 layers of Poorboy's Nattys or S100 (Moose wax is a "one step" wax that will clean the surface as you apply it, cleaning off the oils left behind by the VM and will not give you the best possible results)

I really like the Poorboy's polishes and waxes. I currently have two layers of Nattys on top of a layer of EX (sealant for darker colored cars) that went on after some Vanilla Moose and it looks fantastic.
