Hey all,

Saw a Maroon early 90's LX 5.0 with a cowl hood pulling into the Marathon gas station on Van Dyke between M-59 and 21 mile this afternoon at about 12:10. Didn't stop in, but just checking to see if it belonged to any of you.

I won't be doing my motor swap here for another month or so. In the meantime I'm installing a new ground and replacing my fuel pump.

Do you guys know anyway to test the fuel pump sender? Its $90 new from 50resto but I don't want to spend that much for a part I think might be messed up (gas gauge is FAR from accurate).

Sometimes it reads 3/4 full when I know it has like 3/8 left....

You can get a new sender from local auto parts for cheaper than 50resto. Auto zone carries for about 30 bucks cheaper.

Guys, I got the stang out today and really got into her for the first time tonight! Felt like a completely different car... got sideways in 3rd LOL (first time out with the heads, new intake, maf and injectors)

I'm in Shelby. I usually hit Mt. Clemens once or twice on Saturdays, Of course Woodward in August. Milan a few times, and Gratiot sometimes after work (I get off work at 10:30pm) on Friday or Saturday night for a little racin!
