In other news, how are the Detroit area guys doing? What projects are you guys up to right now?

When I had my '90LX, I got in 20 runs in one night!
nmcgrawj said:Count me in ! What club is it?
JimBowy said:Sounds like FME - Ford Motor Enthusiasts
I'm a member...![]()
milner351 said:Correct, FME, for ford employees, but all Ford enthusiasts are welcome to participate. I've heard rumors of a price increase for next year, and this year we had to start charging for spectators (like $2) to help cover expenses cause some nights were not well attended.
I'm the VP you'd think I'd know!
I think it's going to be $35 to race this coming year, gatest open at 5pm, racing usually starts at 6pm, sometimes there's a heads up bracket single elimination race set up depending on interest, racing goes usually until 10pm.
It's a blast. Love to see some of you guys out there, Now I just have to get my engine built! I'm still fighting with main studs, girdle, milodon pan, milodon windage tray (moroso one didn't fit so well, even after some slicing and dicing)![]()
Last season (05) they were 35$ to race + 2$ to get in... so racing cost you $37.

Whereas in 04 the price was a flat 30.... I hope its not going to increase further.![]()

So many winter projects. So little time. I have got a clutch job that needs to get started, repair the front brakes (stock) and finish getting parts for my 3G alternator install.
