Detroit Area Mustang guys

a few of us still remain, but not many... :nonono:
i can see that.. for this thread being jam packed with pages to read theres no more action in these parts

Its dead in here in the winter. Not much is going on.
i would think since it is winter there would be more people on here waiting out this G/D Snow.... i hate it:bang:

im in jackson any of you guys close or any of you detroit guys ever come this way?
i go out that way, my uncle and aunt live right off of 52? or 50? im not sure what highway it is but if i seen it i would be able to pin point it. they have a water tower in there back yard(if that helps). i plan on hitting miland a few times this summer..

Pretty boring when its 20 degrees and no stang to drive..........

i hear that.. i just bought mine a month b4 i out it away, that sucks.. i felt like i was 16 again driven it all the time. if i new we were gonna have a late winter, i would have kept it out..

I worked at Ford PDC as a supplier rep (Village/Oakwood) on the hybrid launch...the buildings in the photos include World HQ and the Rouge Plant. After picking my car up from Bill Brown Ford, I drove to the Rouge to get those pics (the Rouge pics with snow on the ground).

Mossberg, are you they guy I beat the **** out of for breathing on my car at the cruise?

Oh wait...you parked next to me after the WHQ gathering on that Friday before the cruise, 2004?

Whats up guys! Been a while since I been on here and some bad news prompted me to log on and post and say hi. A friend of mines 2000 Mountaineer was stolen this morning from his driveway, while he was walking out the door to go to work!! He saw who ever stole it drive away with it. So if any of you guys should happen to hear anything through the grapevine or maybe even see some crackhead driving around in a black 2000 mountaineer LP ADL9260, please let me know! I know its unlikely, but what the hell.

Besides this, hows it going with everyone. Im now officially unemployed and will be moving to columbus in a few weeks. Car is sitting in a storage garage collecting dust with a melted clutch. Harley and Triumph are doing well tho! Bikes are way cool :)

Well, that sucks...but please tell us the car wasn't running in the driveway? When I hear about cars getting stolen this way, I hope their insurance rates go up 1000%. F-ing stupid.

Was it in Canton? The theft rate in those apartments near Ford/Haggerty is high. Easy access to Detroit chopshops from I-275 north to I-96 east.

I grew up at Cherry Hill/Sheldon...might be buying the house from my parents in the next few months.

He lives in Redford. Im not sure of the specifics, I think it might have been running with the remote start but Im not positive. Very bummed because his insurance isnt going to cover near what he owes on it I dont think.

If you guys would stop disappearing, the post count might go up! :D I live in Atlanta and post more than you guys.:rlaugh:

Where is Jay?

lol Thats true. Everyones been quiet in here for a long time. Most of the good cruise roads were under construction I think and everyone got bored.

I talked to Jay about 2 weeks ago and he was contemplating what he was going to do when he left Ford. He took the buy out too.

Triumph...I'd love to get a Rocket III!

http://www.triumphrocket.com/

"Triumph claims 147 ft.-lbs. of torque at 2,500 RPM and 140HP at 5,750 RPM for the oversquare fuel-injected mill. All this power should give the 704-pound (dry) juggernaut a 0-60 time of around 2.8 seconds, and a 0-100 time of just over 7 seconds.Power is laid down through a five-speed gearbox, shaft drive (a first for Triumph) and an impressive 240/50-16 rear tire.Stopping the beast are twin 320mm discs and four-piston calipers from the firm's Daytona 955i sportbike in the front, and a 316mm disk with a twin-piston caliper out back."
