If you replace the shocks, you now have 0 miles on the car.

Seriously. If some people think putting a new engine in a 150K mile car qualifies it to have the odometer reset, then i'm going on a 0 miles with new shocks campaign!

This reminds me of an add i saw last week. Some guy had a 1991 Mustang for sale with a "newer" engine in it with 64000 kms.He also put in the guage cluster showing the 64000 kms on it ( he posted pic)Then he says the body has 200000+ kms on it. Good luck selling that thing.

Sounds good! My 84 1/2 had 38k on the clock when I got it, 85k on it now. The 84 SVO that I'm getting has 81k on it.

If Ford wants to get outta financial trouble, all they need to do is produce about 250,000 or more, brand new fox body Mustangs with a 400HP 5.0L pushrod motor, 3.73 gears and a HD 5-speed. Make everything the SAME as it was otherwise.

At minimum, all they really need to do is just make the body in white. (Maybe they can reinforce the torque boxes and connect the subframes for us.)

A new Fox body wouldn't meet today's road standards.

If Ford or any manufacturer could do something like that, we'd see brand new 68 Mustang GT 390's prowling the streets

Last time I was at the dealer, they had the closest thing to a 69 on the floor, and I'd still rather have my 5.0- 1/3 the price when new, easier to make it go faster. Low mile Fox Ryan!
