ive been looking around on websites who sell shortblocks & at modularmustangracing.com they are selling a 4.6 street mod 900 03/04 cobra block for $2800 dollars...
well about 6 months ago i blew my engine & ended up spending like 4k (total+install) on a used GT 4.6L with like 50k on it before the install b/c i was in a rush to have a transportation for college...now could i have bought a block off there & spent the same amount of money or am i missing something?!

yeah but you would have to put different heads cams wiring harness and a couple other things on the short

alright...b/c i took it to two shops in indy...and they both mentioned getting a stroker kit as a replacement but said it would cost like 2k more...but i didnt have the extra money at the time...i wish i wouldve went w/ the kit though b/c doesnt it open up the 4.6 a lot and add a good amount of HP?

yeah its got 2 more cams better heads intake.. list can keep on going

Blocks are the same on the cobras. His heads and everything else would have bolted right up. Might have to get a different flywheel is all.

well i have an auto too...so i think id have a big ol conversion w/ that too? especially on a cobra motor
