Did I get screwed by the dealer?

A freind of mine works at the Ford plant building the Mustang. He told me that the car was being built 2 weeks ago(checked the order number) and I should have it soon. Call up dealer today and they said that the car wasnt going to make it as an 05 and I would have to wait for the 06. I'm thinking that the dealer might have recieved the car and then sold it at MSRP or higher and never told me. What do you guys think?

Did you sign the dealer agreement form?

If you did, and got a VIN, then the 'l' word may need to come into play. I sure as hell would be mad if they pulled a stunt like that on me.
