FIRST THING-- I was told this car has a pretty new clutch

2 days ago i was with my friend and my GF and I stopped to do a burn out. this is how I did it (and ussally always do it this way) :
pushed in the clutch, brought up the rpms nice and high and dumped it in 1st.
then as soon as it breaks loose nail the clutch real quick and slam 2nd,slightly leting off while shifting but only a little bit.
it will usally just go for ever in 2nd and hold a steady RPM for a long burn out.
but this time when I grabbed 2nd it just grabbed and bogged dissgustingly.
so I stopped and did it again, but this time holding it out longer in 1st to make sure I had good wheel speed. but when I grabbed 2nd it bogged again even worse and sounded like the clutch couldnt transfer the power.
the car kinda rolled itself out of the bog, and took off slow.
its gonna rain for the next few days so......
Could the extra people in the car make it bog like that?
Did i smoke the clutch?
cable out of adjust? (it grabbs close to the floor/stiff pedal)
ANY IDEAS?
edit: also, the car seemed like it drove the same as it always does for the rest of the ride home, but i didnt rip on it at all and cant for a few days.
