Driving along and begin to hear strange sounds from the right rear.
Pull over and sure enough the right rear is all but flat.
(brand new Hoosier QTP 28X11.50)

My full size spare drilled for 5/8'' studs (with longer spacers) worked fine.
The stock full size wheel just fits the well. The Hoosier, not so much.

I inspect the tire on the side of the road, and see nothing wrong. Oh well I have 20+ miles
to get home. When I get home, (yesterday) i again inspect the tire and see nothing wrong.
I turn my attention to the stem/core. As I pop the cap off and a pebble rolls out ...a dim bulb begins
to light up. I fill the tire with 35 lb, silence. Spray the stem/core and beads with soapy water nothing.
2 hours later, still 35,put the tire back on the car. This morning it was still holding. This afternoon
still holding. I should mention 10-15 minutes before the flat,I had stopped to make a pressure
adjustment. There was sand/gravel in the area. Murphy's law...

Took the car for a few short hops, pressure was on the rise.

No,nothing like that.
Like I said in the post, just prior to the flat I made a pressure adjustment.
There was sand/pebbles on the pavement. One got into the cap....
when I screwed it back on,the tire began deflating.
This could only happen to me.
