Looks sweet, but it's not a technical issue. Post in TALK.

Sandpaper, polish and lots of time, patience and elbowgrease

If you're interested in getting some parts polished, feel free to PM me about it

I think MansonOzz has a write up on how to polish your parts. But it does take a while. I bought an extra set of brackets for my car so I can attempt to do this. Real hard work, but worth it.

Still have a little work to do around the fins but overall I was pleased with the outcome.

Thanks! About 4-5 hours per caliper depending on your attention to detail.

Dude... those calipers are sick!

Question for you... Where do you initially take the parts to get them cleaned? Are they sandblasted, beadblasted, what?

I just clean them off by hand (de-grease or whatever)

And then take 220 or 320 grit sandpaper to them, that's what takes most of the time, getting all the casting marks and flaws out. The actual shining process once sanded only takes about an hour.

Hmmmm... might have to get with you on a couple of things (namely MY brake calipers). I'm in about the same neck of the woods you are. I can spit on downtown Rockford from my office.
