Did your Auburn Pro get noisier with time?

I had their differential installed on the '88GT not too long ago. When first installed, the differential was quiet as can be. However, in the last few days I've noticed that it has become very noisy anytime I make a sharp turn (but just fine going straight). My trusted mechanic tells me it's normal and not too worry. I trust him, but I always seem to find something to worry about anyways :( Perhaps part of the reason I'm concerned is because I've really started to exercise the new motor (and done a fair amount of wheel spinning).

So tell me - has anyone else noticed a similar phenomenon?

YUP! Mine did the same thing. If it bothers you, just change the rearend lube and put in some additive. I grew so concerned about mine that I contacted Auburn. The tech told me that the additive is not necessary, but would quieten the rearend noises.
:nice:
