Did your Auburn Pro get noisier with time?

I had their differential installed on the '88GT not too long ago. When first installed, the differential was quiet as can be. However, in the last few days I've noticed that it has become very noisy anytime I make a sharp turn (but just fine going straight). My trusted mechanic tells me it's normal and not too worry.
