I forget which is for manual and which is for auto, and I don't have my computer out right now. However, will it really hurt to run an auto ECU with a manual tranny? What will it affect, if anything?
Thanks in advance,
Clifton

A9P, A9L

Interchangeable. From what i've heard, the P has slighty more agressive fuel curves because of the auto. Dont know if theres really any truth to it, but basically all you need to know is that either works in either car.

I've heard of people picking up a couple of tenths just by putting in an A9L. The auto computer does some different things due to the AOD from what I hear.

Thanks, my 89 coupe is an SSP (computer may not be diff. but could be due to being patrol car), so I didn't really want to swap out my comp. if I don't have to...so, I should be, ok? I'm not looking to get best e/t outta my new engine or anything, just want it to run right, feel right, and sound right. Thanks again.
