diff weight.

the weight on the pumkin of my diff was making noises when i drive so I removed it!!..is this ok or should i reinstall it?..thxs joe p.

No, it is designed to reduce noise but with a stock gear, 3.73's made it uneffective. Enjoy the weight loss!
