you could go with a tko 500/600. that would be the strongest way to go.

They are physically different. The 3550 has a separate bellhousing while the 3650 has an intergrated bellhousing. The 3550 will bolt up to a 5.0 or 4.6 while the 3650 is 4.6 only.

The 3650 is rated at 360 ft-;bs while the base 3550 is 350 ft-;bs.

The later TKO versions of the 3550 are rated at 500 and 600 ft;bs

i went to get a tko600 and they told me something like the input and output shafts are different so i need something to go with it and something about the bellhousing and basically it would cost just as much as a t56 swap...is this true?

im holding off for now and i think i'll just get the 3650 rebuild with better internal stuff.

Where can i get a good strong rebuild kit for the 3650?
