Damn LizardKing, are you sure your 00GT was stock, or did you buy it from something thinking it was stock. 13.66 is sick for a stock GT. Any videos like you said?

I have a few others at home... but I haven't converted them to digital yet.

Every GT has potential for a 13.7 if the conditions are right (and you are willing to beat it to a pulp ). I've had my share of track days where 14.0 was all my GT could muster up.

It sucks. ...until you realize, your car can only do so much with heat and humidity.

ok-not going to say this is perfectly right, but straight from the ford racing catalog (2004) Page 42: The description for the "cast 4.6L crankshaft" (new) says (word for word):

M-6303-c46**

>New current production Romeo 4.6L SOHC 2V cast iron crankshaft

>Great for low cost engine builds.

>4.6L engines may have 6- or 8-bolts to attach to the crankshaft. Check the engine code before ordering. Romeo built engines have 6-bolts and Windsor built engines have 8-bolts.
All Cobra engines have 8-bolts. The 8th character in the VIN is (X) for Windsor engine plant or (W) for Romeo engine plant.

Again on page 116 in the catalog, the manual transmission flywheel section it again states in subnotes at the bottom left corner:

(2) 4.6L engines may have 6- or 8- bolts to attach to the crankshaft. Check the engine code before ordering. Romeo built engines have 6-bolts and Windsor engines have 8-bolts. All Cobra engines have 8-bolts.

Nice run. I wish my car would do that for sure. I will just put a few mods on it and get it running like that this year.

2004 the standard rear gear is 3L27

ONLY the Mach 1 got the 3L55

2002 has the new MAF, air temp sensor is in the MAF, 2001 has it seperate in the air pipe.

I think its a 77mm MAF for the 01. Does it matter if you've got a where art thou Romeo engine or a windsor? Are one of them crap? Look at it this way. Get an 01 up. Smoke headlights, GT hood and side scoops are much cooler, Bullitt rims are standard on the premium model, rear spoiler is nicer, more color choices, Nicer stereo.
