I was thinking it would be kinda cool to set my car in more of an agressive stance by putting 18 x 10 wheels in the rear and 17 x 9 in the front of the vehicle. What affects will this have on handling? Will it also put more straint on the front end? Just Curious..

As long as your tire and wheel height is the same, it won't matter much. If done right, this could look cool.

I have the black deepdish bullits, 18x9 front and 18x10 back. My rear end has seemed to stabilize and the wider tire gets better grip. I have a recent post (black deepdish on 03 Stang pics) that will show it's stance on a stock suspension platform. Lowering the car will always, of course, make the car look mean and very aggressive.

I like staggered widths, but I don't care for different diameters IMHO.

I agree, if you put 17's on front and 18's on back, your front tire will be thicker and more noticeable than the back one. In my opinion, I'd go with 18's on both front and back, just different widths. Or 17's......

I think 17's on the front and 18's on the back would probably look better...I'd like to see a comparison...

I can't say mine handles great but I just wanted to try something different being they really don't make any skinnies for the newer stangs. I've thought about getting 15x10s for the rear just because it would ride softer but I really like the width of my 17x11s

I think 17's in the front and 18s in the back would look pretty cool! Corvettes are like this I believe.

I've been running 17's in front and 18's in back for 2 years now. I
am currently running Perrilli P7000 275/40X17 and Perilli P Zero Nero 285/40/18. I love the way it handles, rides and looks!

That's right. The 2005 C6s are going to 18s and 19s.
