I am new to this forum and I just recently got a 94 GT 5.0. I am working out several kinks on this car and the first thing I noticed was there is no dipstick. I have read a few posts about people breaking their dipsticks when trying to bend them while installing BBK Shortys, and since my car has BBK shortys and no dipstick, I can assume the Previous Owner bent/broke the tube.

Here is the problem. I spent the last 30 mins looking under this car and I can not find the boss where the tube inserts.

Can someone please post a pic of this or tell me specifically where it is located? Thanks in advance.

On the drivers side, go back to like the 3rd plug.... look straight down at the block, right above where the oil pan meets the block and you'll see the hole, not in the pan...in the block.

I had to use this one from FRPP with my Mac LTs and it fit mint and bolted to the stock location.

Hey Joe...Rio5.0 has the right one. Look at the pic, its long and curves toward the front of the motor. The Explorer is shorter/fatter and has less of a curve to it. Did the dipstick have a yellow handle? Its probably for an Explorer. Let me look in my parts bin and see if I have another. You may try a couple of junk yards, summit racing, or if you go to Autozone see if they have one for a late model Bronco 302.

And yes thats hole is where your leak probably is.
