I have a 69 Mach1 that has drum barkes all around, I've heard that you can get disks off newer fords that will bolt right up. Is this true if so what year and model. Do you think thta is the way to go or should I just buy a kit. I have looked on the internet for kits but with so many out there I'm not sure which one would be the best bang for the buck. Thanks for your help.

I just put a reconditioned pair of disc brake asemblies (Item number: 150008177467) from my 1970 Mach 1 on Ebay. Just change the outer tie rods to those from a 1970 and you are ready to bolt them on. I also put a complete power steering assembly (Item number: 150008180611) on Ebay which has the outer tie rods for the setup. The 1970 spindles are thicker which is stronger than the 69's. Bolt are complete and 100% ready to bolt onto youe 1969. Good luck!
