ditch the S's for R's?

right now i have 2 Type-S 12's. i would like to step up to the R's, so i was thinking of getting the 2-ohm DVC version.
what amp should i use? JBL BP600.1? i found one online for 220$, which seems like a pretty decent price. its supposedly 600Wx1@2, so the type-r's 300 RMS woudl work out perfectly, right?

they like power, i use the 1200.1

the 1200.1 woudl give them 600 each though, wouldnt it? i mean, im all for power, but im getting them with no warranty, if i get them at all. (thezeb.com or somethign similar)

are you positive the 1200.1 would be ok? im gonna sell my S's with teh box and amp to hopefully pay for the rest, so i dotn want to spend 200$ each on the subs

like i said, the like power. they can handle it just fine. u can get the amp for 275 and the subs for like 100 at ikesound.com
