Do I need 7/16" to 1/2" step washers for my AFR 185s?

Do I need 7/16" to 1/2" step washers for my AFR 185s? I never really looked at the bolt holes on the heads I just assumed I needed the step washers for AFR 185s. But if I don't then that wonderful because I won't have to spend $90 on bolts and step washers.

Pretty sure that you'll need the washers

Yes you will need them unless you have your block threaded holes opened up to 1/2" and use 1/2" bolts. I just used them on my setup.
