Do I need a different crossmember?

Installing the t5 in place of the aod.
Am I going to need a new crossmember (instead of the one used with the aod)?
The checklist I have doesn't show one, so I'm not sure.

I have everything else I need or I hope. (Found all the info from searching)

if your car has never been hit i am sure it will work but the trans mount bolts will be tight agains the one side of the slots but i have done it many times without a problem and no modification

I'm sure you can get away with the AOD, but the T-5 member is probably a little better fit, plus if you ever want to run longtube headers the T-5 member is a much better choice. Yes yes I know some companies make longtubes for the auto, but the choices are far greater with the manual and with the proper crossmember
