Hello guys, I am getting noises from maybe my clutch or input shaft. I dont really know. It sounds like a rattle but rapid. I press the clutch sometimes it goes away and sometimes it just die down a little. Let off the clutch and it makes the noise again. Sometimes I can start the car and not hear it until I drive it for awhile. any ideas!? THANKS!!!

If it's sort of a squeaky sound and, like you say goes away when you press the clutch, my vote is for the TOB. Unfortunately, Ford designed them to ride on the pressure plate full time and this does not make for the greatest longevity.

I jury-rigged up a spring to keep my clutch fork pulled completely back so the TOB does not ride on the PP.

Good luck....

Same problem

I had a similar problem with my 93 Cobra, After pulling the tranny and having it looked over by a local tansmission shop, it turned out to be one of my Cat's, the symtem's I had are almost identical to what you are explaining

It has the be the TOB. I had a similar problem once I had my Ram clutch installed. I thought my mechanic put in a new TOB as with any high performance clutch setup over stock, one would do. Well a day after driving the cobra around, the TOB was gone. Replaced with a Lethal Performance piece and has been fine since. I do need to put on the new adjuster, quadrant, and LDC free play kit.
