Do i need resonators to pass NJ inspection??

Hey everyone, I have a 5.0, sorry but its a Thunderbird. Its a 91. well anyways, I just put in a flowmaster catback system, but I have to take it for inspection this week and I had to remove the resonator. Do i need a resonator to pass inspection in NJ?

Not sure what you mean exactly, but i passed with shortty headers, h pipe with two cats, and a flowmaster cat back.

Well i had to take the resonator out in order to put the flowmaster catback system in, I dont have a resonator in there right now. Do i need to for inspection?

resinator or converter? If you have no converters you will not pass, you dont need resinators though!

no, the cats are still there, just the resonator is gone. but of i dont need that them im good! thanks!

Yea i think you should be ok, as long as the cats are there and you pass the sniffer they dont care much about the exhaust.

Nah youll be fine! I took off my stock h pipe w/ 4 cats and put a catted x pipe on (2 cats) and just past inspection with no problem. Im in NW Jersey.
