DO i need to do this???

when i install my gears, should i install a Master bearing kit too??? my car has 90,000 miles on it... it says to install the master bearing kit on higher milege cars... what do u think????

You can easily reuse all your bearings. If you did not hear any noise, rattles or grooves on your axles, simply reuse all the bearings in there already. I did over 2 gears swaps.

Personally I would do it all, Trac rebuild, install kit, axle bearings etc. just for peace of mind.

I don't see a reason to reuse the originals unless you are really tight on a budget. That's a lot of work to go through to reuse stuff that has 90k miles on it, especially since you're right there.

Spend another $100 on new bearings. Especially if your going to be putting your car through hell and back.

I reused mine with 100k on it, but if I had to do it agian I shoulda just replaced the things

i always use new bearings on a gear swap because the weakest link will break and i would sure hate for it to be a 10 bearing that caused me to tear it back down
