Do I Need to Replace my Timing Chain Tensioners?

I'll be tearing the motor down over the next couple of weeks to replace the cams. I'm going to be replacing the chains and guides as a precautionary measure.

I was wondering if I should replace the tensioners as well.

The older iron guides if the tips have no wear I would reuse them with no worries.

Nick, you da man. I was reading the same thing in some REALLY old posts (about the older motors having better tensioners), but I wasn't sure if that was still the accepted practice.
