Do I need to run an FMU with this setup?

I'm in the process of installing my Paxton Novi2000 on my 94 GT, and I'm just wondering whether or not I need to use the supplied FMU. My car is already equipped with an Aeromotive Competition fuel system, 55lb low impedance injectors, and I will be using an Anderson PMS to tune.

So with that setup, is the FMU necessary, or is it kind of redundant? It seems to me like it would be but I'm not sure. Plus installing could be a little bit of work, since it has barbed fittings for rubber hose, but obviously I'm running braided stainless fuel lines. Then again I could probably find some adapter fittings or something and hook it up, but it would be a considerable amount of work. Just wanted to know if I need it with all that other stuff.

Thanks!
