Do MAF cars use the same O2 sensors as SD cars?

Hey guys. I recently did a MAF conversion and H/C/I. I've been having some issues with idle surging. I was told by some pretty knowledgable people that my O2 sensors were no longer the right ones. They said that MAF cars use a different one than I had on my SD car. Before I go and buy new O2 sensors at almost 100.00, are they right or do I have the correct sensors? I looked it up on Autozone's website and they show the same part number for an 87 SD car and a 93 MAF car. Please help me out here.

if you mean by track times and HP, I don't know, but my mechanic estimates I'll run a mid 12 with my driving skills (I'm pretty good I guess) and he thinks I'm planting around 280 RWHP. I still need a bigger MAF,TB and 24# injectors, but I'm shooting for 300 RWHP.
