Do your ford racing roller rockers make noise??

I have ford racing pedestal mounted roller rockers with stock size harden push rods so I just torqued them down on my gt40p heads. I had just roller tip rockers before but made no noise. I heard that some noise is normal Is this true? I'll see If I can get the noise on video tonight and post it.. I was wondering the same thing because mine are pretty loud,but i have stud mount ford racing rockers.I think i read in a thread a while back that rockers are always going to be loud.

I can tell you I have NEVER heard ANY rr's that were as quiet as the oem stamped steel rockers.

A little more noise with em ain't all that uncommon

If you can hear one or two of em makin more noise than the rest
There MIGHT be some cause for concern .....
Just depends on how much more noise

IMHO ... peds make a bit more noise than studs as their flexability of adjustment is not all that much

My Crane 1.7`s were a lot quieter than the stock rockers.

Did you check and set the preload on the lifters?

Can`t just bolt them down blindly without checking.

My crane make noise but I'm getting the 6.300 pushrods. I currently have the 6.250 which come stock. I was told I needed longer rods to compensate for whatever. I'll be getting them to see if I can quiet my valve train down a bit.

ROckers will make more a sewing machine style humm but there shouldnt be any clanking or tapping. I didnt see ur vid so im not sure if that is what was on there.

I just saw your vid and they do seem pretty loud. Mine aren't that loud, especially not at idle.

the vid does make them sound louder then they really are...
