I think I will just skip this TSB... LOL!

I have been able to fill mine on the lowest ratchet setting on the nozzle. At least it is not filling .20 cents at a time... I can deal with it.

BTW- All these issues are BS, IF a seasoned tech handles it. Bent or broken parts are the dealers responsibility. Period.

Yeah you may be a little picky. But it is un-excusable to leave your CAT wires hanging and put your muffler on like that. I would go to a different dealer if you can. That definately shows extremely sloppy and incompetent work.

i am going to take the gt in for the cover in the morning....i look under neath to see if i can figure out what the rattling is....i see that they damaged the following items:
1. spare tire well
2. intermediate pipes
3. both flowmaster mufflers
4. muffler clamp bolts stripped
the right side muffler hanger in the front is loose--like the bolts are just started. the fuel gauge does not read the right level...3/4 tank when i know it is full. the mufflers are not even close to adjusted properly, one hangs way down, and the other is almost touching the bumper. the rattle turns out to be the left muffler is jitting the hanger in the rear. i also think that the intermediate pipes are bent right over the suspension--i think they put a 2x4 between them to pry the mufflers off. i STILL dont know if they are replacing my flowmasters for me or not....hopefully they can have the cover on without problems....and they can buy me a new set of intermediate pipes and flowmaster axlebacks. plus give me money to fix the spare tirewell. i know nobody will ever see it, but I KNOW it is there. and i will be putting on all the new parts, not those hacks...

got it back today....day 3 that was supposed to be another 1/2 day. so over a week total i was without my car between the two trips in to the stealership. guess that they decided yesterday to just go ahead and do the strut bearings on the front end as well. i think it was an excuse to get an extra day. at least i dont have to go back there again...they finally are going to order me new intermediate exhaust pipes (dont know cost), and a new set of flowmaster axlebacks (about $300)that were damaged. they gave me a free tank of gas ($40) for the wait. it was the LEAST they could do. i told them several times over the course of this repair that i was extemely unsatisfied. i talked normal, didnt yell or act rude. i was polite and firm about my requests for the damaged parts to be replaced. the service manager was glad i was being cool and thanked me for it. i still think that i should get free details once a month for the trouble, but i did not ask and they did not offer, lol.so i guess overall i am happy with the outcome. all parts are going to be replaced. i am still upset that it took so long to do just a gas tank. and i have to pay $98 for a broken foglight on the rental, that i did not break and would not have had to drive it if they would have done the job right the first time. i will not be going back to that dealership for service work again. it was close to me and my work, but ill go the extra distance to go somewhere else. if someone is going to be interested in some slightly used intermediate pipes and flowmaster axlebacks, PM me and we can work something out. now if the dealership would only give me a set of black bullitts, i would be a happy camper.....
