I'll be running 17X10" wheels all around this year on my cobra and I have been looking for the old export fender flares that used to be readily available with no luck. I don't know if I am searching for the wrong term or what but I can not find them. If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it.

I don't know if anyone's making new sets anymore, though from what I heard they were ABS plastic instead of metal like the actual export flares. I haven't found a set in Japan yet; everything so far is stlil attached to the fenders, and I can't ship those.

Hmmm... I didn't know that the export ones were metal. If you ever find them please let me know.

You got it. I'm also keeping an eye out for yellow export tail lights for you, but I have never seen them listed in Japan. They do exist in Europe, however.

I found mine here about 8 years ago: Welcome to Performance Parts Inc.

You just have to check back once in a while as their inventory changes. Saw some 94-95 export tails on there back then too. Should have picked those up too.

Can't send you a PM 'cause you have them blocked. I can get 94-95 export tails from Japan. PM me or send me an e-mail at dakitty AT chythar DOT net.

I fixed it so I can receive PMs. I'm interested in black tails.

Paul, I have seen them pop up from time to time on ebay. Have you checked there?

Thanks for that pic. Those are what I'm looking for as they will do exactly what I need. Here's a pic of my car with my new wheels on. In this pic I have the camber MAXED, I loosened the upper fender bolts and pulled the fender away from the hood, and the rear fenders are now rolled/stetched. As you can see, it still isn't enough. I have a lot of roll stiffness in this car but I'm still worried. I don't want to wreck a $1K set of tires if they make contact.

Paul, I'm going to take mine off here soon and see what kind of damage was done behind them from rubbing and whatnot. I may be up for selling them off. I know that one has a tiny knick in it but should be easily fixed. I'll let you know when I get them taken off. Are you in a hurry for these? The rears your going to have to get a little creative on getting them on because they screw into the fender lip that you rolled.....

I'm not sure if Shinoda still sells them but I've seen them on their site for $200 Intro

The sooner the better, but I can't be in too much of a hurry since I can't seem to find them anywhere. I emailed Jim this morning at Shinoda and he told me that they don't have any right now. I have an email out to another guy that supposedly has multiple sets but I haven't heard from him yet. I'm definitely interested in yours. In order to not break the rules I need to enforce on here please email me at killercanaryAThotmail.com so we can discuss this further. Thanks!
