Does my 2000 GT have a "PI" Engine???

I've been seeing all of these things on eBay and other places for PI heads, cams, and so on...I was just wondering if I had one. I have looked on the heads for the VIN, but I just can't seem to find the spot. Thanks

Can't say I know crap about 4.6s, but I'm pretty sure the 99+ GTs are PI motors. All the 96-98 guys want the PI heads & cams to get up to part with the 99+ guys. Thats why the 99+ is rated at like 260hp and the 96-98 is along the lines of like 220-230hp...not real sure.

All 99-up GTs have the PI stuff.

99+ have the "PI" heads. to answer your question yes, you have PI heads-intake-cams. and the 96-97 GTs have 215, the 98's have 225 (ford claims 10hp bump from exhaust)
