Does Stangnet really need to seperate SVT's tech/talk?

I mean, really. I'm seeing threads from a few months back that no one ever views. There's usually one other person on either tech or talk when I'm here and it takes a couple of days to get a reply when I post? I'm just saying... they might as well combine tech and talk. Call it SVT talch

This has been brough up in our staff section of SN.

The way the board was divided into "tech" and "talk" sections were originally meant to keep threads posted in the appropriate section
(ie - a question of technical nature would be posted in the (surprise), "svt tech" area, etc).

Unfortunately, the "SVT" section of SN has fallen off in terms of site traffic (for whatever reasons). Additionally, if you go back several years this section saw higher traffic volume than what you may have experienced thus far since registering on SN in Feb of this year.

Yes the SVT section needs to be separate.
