i been looking for some under hood bling lol, and this looks like a pretty well made intake so what do you guys think?

I think it looks good. By buddy had the same thing, except for his cobra.

Bend before the MAF = turbulence and runs like crap FTL As far as bling goes I'm sure its not horrible...but it looks just like aluminum stock. Shoulda put the money towards a blowa

I had that exact same model CAI for my 02 GT...it is a MAC. It was OK in terms of added power but it was a BITCH to get into the fender and did my the car run a little rich.

Oh yeah...and the bling didn't last too long, it dulls quickly unless you routine polish it.

yea get a JLT, its such a pain in the ass getting it into the fender hole, and taking it out for routine cleaning is a huuuge pita

While in a general sense this statement is true, laminar airflow across the MAF sensor is nowhere near as critical in a NA application as it is when running forced induction.

So... unless you're currently running a blower or turbo I wouldn't be concerned with a bend before the MAF.

I sanded the chrome off mine and sprayed it flat black so i wouldnt have any "bling" under the hood.
